Your textile and clothing passport ready, before it has to be
A digital product passport for textile and clothing is coming. The date is not yet fixed — if you start now, you will only need a button later.
Expected around 2029. This date is not yet fixed: ESPR work plan 2025-2030: delegated act expected in 2027, clothing with eighty per cent or more textile fibres first. As soon as the act is published, the date will be shown here.

From catalogue to passport
- The product scan. You provide your catalogue — an export from your inventory system is sufficient. We classify each product in its group and show what is missing per product.
- Add information. You fill in what you know yourself. For chain data, we send one request per supplier — not four separate emails about the same product.
- Publish. The passport goes live at its own address, with a QR code that you place on the product or packaging.
- Maintain. If anything changes, the passport changes with it — and the old version is kept. That must also be done: in a recall, the question is always what was shown on the day of sale.

Are you in multiple groups? Then start at prodpas.eu
This site covers one product group. If your assortment falls into multiple groups — and for importers that is more the rule than the exception — you create prodpas.eu digital product passports for all eight groups from one account. One subscription, one login, and a product that falls into two groups you enter once with two passport layers.
Are you already a customer here and want to switch? Then you only pay the difference in setup fee — € 250.00 — and the passports you have already invoiced are transferred. You do not pay twice for the same step.
